In late20th century, Postmodernism rising in western society had a huge impact on everyfield, with no exception of education. The curriculum is an important part of the educationimplementation and Postmodernism provides a new perspective for the development ofcurriculum theory. This thesis attempts to reexamine the evaluation theories of our currentbasic curriculum education theory, in order to construct and perfect the evaluation system ofprimary and secondary school curriculum, ultimately offering lots of reference and inspirationfor our current curriculum development.The first chapter introduces the postmodernism education view. This chapter illustratesthis view from three aspects. First, the rise of postmodern thoughts is systematically described.Second, the main content of the Postmodernism education view is analyzed in a full scale. Onthe basis of criticizing Modernism, Postmodernism has a great breakthrough on theknowledge view, the curriculum view and the education view. Third, the impact on themodern curriculum evaluation brought about by the Postmodernism education view isillustrated in detail.The second chapter describes the present state and confusion of the curriculumevaluation of middle and elementary schools in our country. First, the historical developmentof the curriculum evaluation is analyzed. Second, the present situation of our curriculumevaluation system of the middle and elementary schools since the new curriculum reform ishighlighted. At last, the problems existing in the current curriculum evaluation system is putforward.The third part explains the construction of the curriculum evaluation under the vision ofPostmodernism. This part borrows ideas from the development of the concept of curriculumevaluation, open evaluation standard, the diversification of evaluation main body,multidimensional evaluation content, evaluation method for construction of diversification.
