Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of College Student Associations Management In Qingdao University Of Technology(Linyi)

At the beginning of the 21st century,after our country's higher education has moved from elite education to popular education,it will enter the stage of popularization through more than ten years' development.In the meantime,college associations,as the development platform of students' self-educating,self-managing and self-serving,have been promoting students' active participation in social practice and trained their abilities in all aspects while continuously introducing colorful public products,such as community activities,enriching campus cultural life and expanding public welfare services.However,with the continuous expansion of the number of students,the number of college student associations is also growing rapidly,which brings challenges to the effective management of associations.Therefore,it urgently needs to carry out the necessary practical exploration and theoretical research to manage such a large number of associations effectively.Based on the summary of relevant research at home and abroad,this paper takes the management of college student associations in Qingdao University of Technology(Linyi)as an example,and makes a thorough analysis of the achievements and problems in the management of college student associations.The study found that the college has achieved good results in the management of the system,organization,membership,funds and activities of the community,but there are still some problems,such as funding and site support,tutors,system implementation and community activities.Through the study of the problems,this paper analyses their respective causes and draws lessons from the western theories of student association management,such as "student development theory",the concept of "complete development" and a new theory "SLI",as well as relevant domestic research results.It puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions,including increasing the support of community activities,defining the service concept and rules,standardizing the management of guidance teachers,innovating incentive mechanism,strengthening supervision of system implementation,managing associations flexibly,and breaking through regional restrictions.This study holds that to strengthen the management of university students' associations,we must change the management concept,firmly establish the idea of "management is service",and highlight the master position of college students.In addition,the article introduces the theory of public goods for the first time to analyze the activities of associations,and holds that the activities of associations can be recognized as public goods,so the management of the activities of associations can be managed by referring to some management methods of public goods.It also puts forward the promotion of "professionalization" of the instructors of associations and the implementation of "selection and reward law" to meet individual needs and stimulate the instructors' enthusiasm in work and the innovative vitality of members of associations.
