With the development of education, higher education has changed from elite education to mass education, college is no longer a distant dream for most people to meet, people began to pursue a higher level of undergraduate education after graduate education. At the same time, with the accelerated pace of enrollment and increasing proportion of university graduates each year, the employment situation is worsening.Under a variety of realistic pressure, more graduates avoid to be eliminated by the social competence, choose a higher level of studies duty-bound, so that the graduate education become the the focus of pursuit,graduate enrollment increase year after year, and form a wave.There are some reasons for fanatical pursuit of graduate education. This article attempts to explain this phenomenon and extract impact factor of individual choice of graduate education from micro-individual perspective.This article includes the following four parts:First, sort out the literature, which research factors affecting the choice of higher education; on the basis of the literature research, identify the19selected factors of impacting graduate education; then, design the questionnaire according to the factors affected, through modifing and finishing, issue questionnaires to the the four universities in Chengdu undergraduate graduates of2011, access to relevant data;fmally, wield Logistic regression to identify impact factors of individual choice of graduate education.The main conclusions of this paper:First, according to survey data, get the19factors, in which,10factors are significantly associated, they are professional, academic performance, parental education, parental expectations, school type, atmosphere, expected income, academic standards,which exist significant positive correlation with graduate education options. However, the household income and household problems exist significant negative correlation graduate education options. Second, graduate education choice is primarily influenced by the above factors, the role of strength in descending order is:the expected income, academic achievement, school type, parental expectations, parental educational level, the atmosphere of taking postgraduate entrance exams, graduate employment prospects, family income, the household problem. Third, gender, students, the number of children, employment prospects undergraduate, tuition, scholarships, loans pressure, academic standards, social circle and graduate education choice was not significantly correlated.
