College Students’ employment choice is related to the future development of society.During the transition period to high-quality development relying on innovative development, college students,as high-quality labor in the labor market, are an important resource for urban development and social progress. The upgrading and high-end of the city’s industrial structure need talents, and the technological upgrading and transformation of enterprises need talents, and the self-development of talents also needs the stage of enterprises and resources of the city. However,in today’s high housing prices, housing problem has gradually become an important factor affecting college students’ choice of employment cities and the nature of employer. How many college students have no choice but to leave cities with richer development resources due to housing price issues, and how many college students want to work in the state-owned enterprises due to housing price issues, which not only hinders the development of the city, but also affects the full use of the individual talents of college students. Most relevant studies have confirmed that housing prices have a significant impact on the flow of talents between different regions from a macro perspective. In order to better promote the city’s attraction and retention of talents and promote a reasonable employment structure for college students,it is particularly important to analyze the impact of housing prices on college students’ employment choices. On the basis of referring to relevant literature, this paper takes housing price perception factors as the entry point and combines with other factors that affect college students’ employment choice to establish a Logistic model on employment choice, and analyzes the impact of housing price on college students’ employment choice.Questionnaire surveys were conducted with recent graduates of Hangzhou Universities, such as Zhejiang University of science and technology,Zhejiang Chang zheng vocational and Technical College,Zhejiang University of Technology, etc,to collect data, and establish a multivariate logistic model on the choice of employment cities,a binary logistic model on whether college students stay in Hangzhou or not and a multivariate logistic model of College Students’ choice of the nature of employer to analyzes the influence of housing price on College Students’ choice of"city and employer’s nature.Research conclusions:(1)The housing price perception factors will affect the choice of the university students’ employment city. The perception of high housing prices will make college students choose cities with relatively low housing prices in a comprehensive consideration of personal, family, and city factors, the higher possibility of becoming a house slave will encourage college students to choose a relatively high-level city for employment.(2)College students will choose to leave Hangzhou when they feel that the housing prices in Hangzhou are similar to or even partly higher than those in the first-tier cities. At the same time, the high rents in Hangzhou are also preventing college students from staying in the city.(3)Perceived housing price pressure will promote college students to choose state-owned enterprises and civil servants, and at the same time it will inhibit college students from choosing entrepreneurship.Relevant suggestions based on the research conclusions are as follows:(1)College students themselves should change their concept of house purchase, accept the reality of renting a house, and realize step-by-step house purchase through housing replacement.(2)In order to retain talents, the government should increase the supply of low-rent housing and economical and practical houses, promote the same rights of rent and purchase, strengthen the supply of urban public service resources, increase talent subsidies to reduce the cost of living in the city, and strengthen the standardization of the rental housing market.Protect the rights and interests of college students and tenants.(3)Enterprises can attract new college students by providing staff dormitories, and retain talents through the construction of corporate apartments and the implementation of corporate housing provident funds to reduce brain drain.
