Because personal higher education need appears to increase continuously and diverse trend, the scope and activities of personal higher education choice are the most extensive and active period all in mankind's history. Personal higher education choice involves the nation, society, high school and personal etc and is affect by numerous factors. It's a very complicated process. By researching to such factors, the thesis discusses three questions what factors exist? What influence functions are produced? Which trend will be developed from now on? By combing the existed researches about these questions, I discover all these personals are too short, which especially are short in substantial analyzing, It's also the focal points that the thesis analyzes and discusses.By consulting The research result of someone the related theories, the thesis puts forward that six kinds of main factors affecting personal higher education choice maybe exist, these main factors are the economic factor, the social factor, the individual factor, the information factor, the system factor and the school respectively, which are designed some reflection index. To verify above ideas true, usefulness and what influences function these maybe produce, the thesis chooses the university students that are just accepting higher education as research object, the research objects involve the university students of 8 university or college in Wuhan, Hubei province and 3 universities or college in Shandong province. This research extends 730 questionnaire totally, recovery 598 valid questionnaire. Various covariance tools are carried on the analysis of these questionnaire, which include the combine of analysis and synthesize, the combine of determining the nature and the quantity, the contrast research, statistics and analytical. By these way, the thesis discuss what factors maybe influence university student when they choose higher education, and influence what influence function these factors maybe produced again.The research analyses detailed each factor and reflection target that may exist firstly, then analyses each factor by comprehensive analyses and comprehensive analyses. At last, the thesis draws such 7 conclusions:(1) It mainly proves the true and reasonable of factor dividing and target setting up. It proves different factor's influence function on personal higher education choice is different. The university factor is the most principal one. Thenthe economic factor and the social factors take the second place. With develop of society and the change higher education, the status and influence function of each factor also change continuously.(2) The influence function of the economic factor include: Personal family economical condition affects personal higher education choice remarkably, the popular higher education is advantageous to the students of the wealthy family; Higher education and personal future income's equal are not consistent and concerned, which make the difference on individual manpower capital investment; Too expensive tuition limits Personal choice on higher education.(3) The influence functions of the social factor include: the difference of Society stratum deeply affect personal higher education choice, which mainly rises the function of " add flowers to brocade"; The antinomy of city and country exists Outstandingly; The society factor still affects personal fluxion and will after they graduate from university.(4) The influence function of the individual affect: The sex equal on higher education has made obvious progress, but some aspects still need the improvement; The university student's character has their personality and blemish; The quantity of secondary education exists the seriously unbalanced problem, with social background difference, personal study result in high school produces difference influence on personal entering a higher school; The phenomenon that Personal interest is suppressed and despised is serious.(5) The influence function of the information factor: The information outlet that personal can use is not so abundant, the majority can not acquire ample higher education information; With different family background everyone's difficult on getting higher education information is different, too; overall, the accuracy of higher education information that people have is worse.(6) The influence function of the system factor: people have different opinions on higher educations extending, people aren't satisfied with the fair degree of the university entrance examination.(7) The influence function of school factor: persona's choice on the kind of universities is various while the pressures of existence and competition among university is rising; It's very outstanding that graduates are not satisfied with their professional; The higher education quantity problem becomes the focus of personal concern, also is social hot currently and difficult problem and from now on.In accordance with above content, this thesis put forward such counter plan and suggestion:(1) Weaken the economic factor and social stratum factors unfair...
