In the promotion of emotional education with emphasis on visual culture today, the development of children’s picture book has become increasingly subject to the children’s book publishing market concerns. As is known to all, children’s picture book is made for children in the first place. It is the literary expression which is a combination of diagramming the narrative and graphic form. Picture of children’s picture books with the special nature of the narrative is a graphical language. This graphic language describes all aspects of the picture book. What the article discusses is the children’s Picture Book Graphic Language on the emotional communication. Graphical language can use specific pattern forms to express human emotion world, therefore from the graphic itself, and stood in the creator’s angle analysis of children’s picture books graphic language in emotional communication and conversion mode, which brings the children emotional resonance and experience, this is the main content and purpose.From the point of view of the paper structure, the first part is the basic research, first by the research of the theory of emotions, and analyzes the psychological characteristics of children and children emotional development characteristics, it reveals the emotional education contents and meaning; then it describes the definition, the development, features and pictures’special performance of children’s picture book. The second part describes the emotional experience of children’s picture books in the reading process. Starting from the relationship between children’s picture books and children’s reading, the paper discusses the process of the graphic language from feeling to cognitive to emotional transformation, and children’s emotion experience in reading picture books. The third part analyzes and summarizes graphic language factors contains emotion, and the specific way of graphics conveying emotion, being the focus of this paper. The fourth part puts forward the development of emotional direction will be the big trend of children’s picture book, based on this, from four aspects, such as returning to children’s standard, supporting local original, infusing the awareness of emotional design, Implementing the interactive experience on the digital platform, making a outlook for the future of children’s picture book.
