“Picture book" has become today’s hot books, from the babbling of children to school pupils, and even adults picture can’t resist them. In foreign countries, picture books are used to enlarge their knowledge, or to rich child’s emotional, to help children correct understanding of themselves, to manage their emotions and improve self-care ability etc., But in the language training, its function is not very obvious. In our country, picture books appear more in children’s before teaching stage, used as children’s reading of enlightenment. Now, it is also slowly into our language classroom. But it is not difficult to find that in the primary school classroom in the use of examples, even if there are many errors, so that students can not get real language ability. Being the primary school teachers, how can we choose and use of picture books, really, to improve students’ Chinese ability? This paper will combine the a large number of examples of the class, to picture books for teaching improve the lower primary school students’ language ability of the method is researched, in order to help the teachers in the classroom to carry out picture books.This paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter mainly discuss in the two concept of picture books teaching and core competence of Chinese; the second chapter of picture book instruct in the lower section students Chinese culture during the possibility of, elaborates the necessity and function proposed in accordance with the low period of primary school students learning, and traditional Chinese Teaching complement each other, on students’ language ability has extensive views to promote the role of; the third chapter describes from the picture book teaching principle, content selection and the detailed process of design to the picture book teaching strategy.
