Implementing performance management is inevitable trend of the reform of educationand teaching in rural middle school, is also an integral requirement of school developmentand teachers’ personal development. The starting point of the paper is to analyze the causeof failure of former performance management in L Middle School. Performancemanagement is like a double-edged sword. Implementing performance managementrequired not only advances quality of education and teaching markedly, but also fosters apiece of stronger professional ability teachers, meanwhile, which can excavate newpotential of long-term development of school. By theory restructure of performancemanagement, the paper combined with reality of L Middle School and brought the conceptto Key Performance Indicators, via adopting interviewing method and questionnairesurvey,in the meantime, the paper defined afresh job responsibility at all levels of andconfirmed corresponding key performance indicators, The paper layout key performanceindicators system. At last, the paper put forward concrete principles and operation methodsof implementing performance management successfully. Hope to provide a way of thinkingand reference by the study for performance management in L Middle School.
