In the process of the development of modern society,economy and education are two indispensable elements.Higher education is an important link of modern education.The construction of first-class universities needs first-class teachers,and the establishment of first-class teachers requires universities to adopt reasonable performance appraisal management methods to activate the enthusiasm of university teachers and urge them to devote themselves to teaching and scientific research with full enthusiasm.This paper takes GX university as the research object and studies the performance management method of teachers in GX university.In the process of research,the research methods adopted include: literature reading method,case analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.Literature review method is adopted to sort out the literature in the field of teacher performance management and summarize the theoretical basis of subsequent research.Case analysis method is adopted to realize the purpose of analysis and in-depth study.By means of questionnaire survey,GX university teachers' views and opinions on GX university teachers' performance management were investigated.Interviews were conducted to understand the views of representative teachers on GX university's teacher performance management.Through questionnaire survey and interview,it is found that the problems of teacher performance management in GX university include low work enthusiasm of teachers,low salary of young teachers,great pressure in life,emphasis on quantity rather than quality in the assessment of scientific research results,and low teaching satisfaction due to the neglect of teaching quality in the assessment of teacher performance.GX university teacher performance management exist,such as the cause of the problem is mainly,strategic management and performance management between teachers,school performance is difficult to play a role of strong incentive wages,the scientific research achievement appraisal system the lack of certain scientific,does not have the right tradeoffs between scientific research and teaching,the relationship between the students participate in the teachers' performance appraisal program is not reasonable.Based on the principle of strategic coordination,forward-looking layout,hierarchy and importance,the optimization index system of teacher performance management in GX university is designed from six aspects: professional social recognition,students' social recognition,student satisfaction,teaching quality,research ability and teaching management.According to this study,GX university teacher performance management includes four links,namely,the formulation of performance management plan,the implementation process of performance management,performance management and evaluation,and performance management feedback.The four links constitute the circular process of performance management implementation process.Through research,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of GX university teacher performance management,this paper proposes to strengthen the implementation guarantee from the following four aspects: 1.The second is to strengthen the training and communication of performance management and form a good atmosphere for all teachers to participate widely.Third,the establishment of special funds to ensure the smooth implementation of teacher performance management;Fourth,improve the ability of departments to collect information and data.
