Geography is a synthetic discipline crossing nature and humanity.From theperspective of science education practice, the scientific experiment is a fundamentalpart of geography teaching process,which has unique values----understandinggeography, mastering the knowledge more effectively, developing their interests andabilities about scientific experiment, forming the scientific attitude and behavior forstudents.Our country formulated the "geography course about standard (experiments)"that has clearly put forward the requirements of geography experimental in2003.Thispaper is mainly about contents and methods of the high school geography teachingexperimental design, hoping that it can offer more abundant curriculum resources tohigh school geography teaching.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction. It introduces the research background as well asthe significance of this research and puts forward the research methods and ideas viaanalyzing research background and significance.The second part is literature review. By reading a large number of literatures, itsums up the present status of geography experimental teaching research at home andabroad, finds a breakthrough point, at the same time, and further mines geographyteaching design of experiment on the basis of predecessors’.The third part is the theoretical basis. First, it scientifically defines the relatedconcepts about the geographic experiment, experimental teaching, geographyexperimental teaching, experimental design and etc.. Then, it arranges the relatedtheoretical knowledge about discovery learning theory, geographic constructiontheory, exploration teaching theory, which are relevant to geographic experimentaldesign,The fourth part is the high school geography teaching design of experiment. Thisabout the high school geographic experiment, the principles of the experimentaldesign and the common methods of experimental teaching.Therefore, it mainly elaborates the steps of geographic experiment designs and geographic experimentswith the help of cases.The fifth is the conclusion. It introduces the main conclusions and shortcomings.
