At present, the construction of teachers engaged in teaching pre-school education invocational colleges in Guangdong province is relatively dropped behind, especially for the issueof high quality of teachers. With the enrollment increased year by year of the major of Pre-schooleducation in vocational college, the demand of teachers will continue to expand, but at the sametime teacher training market has a downward trend and the scale and quality of training islimited. That is to say, both the training size and the training specifications of colleges in ourprovince are far unable to meet the needs of teachers in the major of pre-school education invocational colleges, so the teacher supply and demand problem is very prominent.This study analyzes the supply and demand of teacher in the major of pre-school educationin vocational colleges, and points out that the existing teacher training scale fails to meet thedemand of teachers’ quantity, specifications to cultivate teachers fails to meet the requirements ofteachers’ quality problems, and further analyzes the three major causes of the problem of supplyand demand: the lack of macroeconomic control by government leads the supply and demand ofteachers to blindness; lack of awareness of professionalism of professional teacher in vocationalcolleges; the subject for cultivation of teachers’ enthusiasm for vocational education teachertraining is not high and they are not professional. According to the problems, the author providessolutions, which includes strengthening the government macroeconomic regulation and control,forming the effective mechanism of teacher supply and demand; actively exploring vocationalcolleges pre-school education professional teachers’ professional ability standard; enhancing thespecialized and professional training of high vocational normal college.
