The Outline Of Social Management Philosophy

In China, we have witnessed the structural change over30years of reform andopening-up. The double transformation of economy and society has brought about aseries of social conflicts and problems, which have become changeable andcomplicated due to modern dilemma and value crisis caused by globalization.“In theviewpoint of constructive post-modernism, pathosis of the world is characterized asdestruction of the natural environment, the declination of spiritual civilization, andthe suffering of human souls. Modernity, especially the modern technology has led tothe alienation of both the world and the people.”To solve the crisis of alienationcaused by the great change of internal and external environment, and guarantee thesocial order, it is high time to strengthen the social management.In China, theadjustment of social interests, the change of social structure and the intensity of socialconflicts pose a serious challenge to the social management in the new era. Manyprojects involved with the general principle of philosophy have been set up when thegeneral knowledge of social management cannot solve large amounts of social issues.Consequently, the poverty of philosophy and thinking has become the bottleneck ofcontemporary social management in our country.In view of this, basing on thecombing of the traditional and current knowledge and methods of social management,the thesis will explore new ways suitable for social management in our country fromthe aspect of philosophy. Through the definition of some important concepts in socialmanagement, the thesis will elaborate theoretical and practical problems existing inthe social management in our country. We will apply the philosophical thinking todemonstrate paradigm of social managing philosophy, methodology, axiology, thepractice theory ect. Basing on the practical dimension and the practice of socialmanagement, we also will analyze and summarize the causes of social problems,characters and shortcomings in the social management. Later, we will put forward thephilosophical way to apply the innovative thinking mode in the social management,and the philosophical qualification possessed by social manager. This thesis consists of introduction, chapter one to chapter five, and conclusion.In the framework of research achievements, the deficiencies and improvement methodof social management, we will dialectically analyze, reflect and review the problemsin the social management. Combining the theory and practice, we aim at building thepractical path in the philosophical perspective in our country.
