For the majority of ordinary workers, work and family are the core areas of daily life,the relationship between the two areas is not only have important impact on the physicaland mental health of people, but also have an important influence on the individual,thefield of work and the field of family.Therefore, teachers as a part of workers, due to theparticularity of their job type, the balance of Work-Family will not only affect thequality of their life and physical and mental health, but also indirectly affect the physicaland mental development of their students and the teaching effect. How to eliminate andmitigate the conflict between work and family, and how to achieve to the balanceddevelopment of work and family, has an important significance to the harmoniousdevelopment of our society, therefore, the discussion about the problems of ourUniversity Teachers’ Work–Family balance is very important and urgent.Firstly of all, this paper analyzes the present situation of domestic and foreignresearch on the Work-Family balance, and on the basis of learning the theory of LaborEconomics, Welfare Economics and humanistic management. and then our country’sspecial social culture and organizational characteristics make the foundation of this paper,after all that these theories provide a theoretical support to the construction of the indexin the fellowings.Secondly, this paper elaborated our country University teachers’ Work-Familybalance situation, supporting status and happiness status, to make the city ofQinhuangdao and Tianjin as the investigation areas, extract some university teachersrandomly as the object of study. And through the questionnaire survey on the balance ofwork and family, make detail analysis about the causes of what the teachers inUniversities feelings of the status in all aspects.Thirdly, on the basis of descriptive analysis of the university teachers’ balanceof work ande family. Using the method of Factor Analysis and analysis of variance, tosummarize the impact factors of Work-Family conflict balance, and clear the influence ofspecific factors. Through the analytic hierarchy process to establish the Work -family conflict balance index system, so we can establish the equilibrium model andthen it will help to offer the suggestions.Finally, on the basis of systematic investigation and analysis, Puts forward somecountermeasures and suggestions from the government, organization and individual pointof view, to help balance the work-family conflict and build a harmonious society.
