In the context of "Double First-Class "initiative,the reform of personnel system and young teachers'needs for professional guidance of career development,talents in colleges and universities have faced a huge challenge at the current stage.Based on Career Development Phase Theory,"Work-Family"Balance Theory and Public Sector Human Resource Development Management Theory,this research investigates the career management of young university teachers in Guangxi.Both qualitative and quantitative methods are utilized.Through the research,major findings are as follows:1)At present,the overall situation of young university teachers' career management in Guangxi is in poor situation,among which the career management behavior of young teachers in administrative positions(including administrative/student work and logistics work)is better than that of teachers in other positions;2)Young university teachers in Guangxi are under great pressure from both work and family during their career management;3)To some certain extent,the "work-family" balance is influenced by family fertility status;4)Young university teachers,who prefer working in the "work-family" balance attitude,their career management situations are not ideal,further indicating that the current overall career management situation requires professional and scientific intervention and guidance.Therefore,this research puts forward effective intervention strategies from three dimensions:national society,university organization and individual teacher.Chapter one is the introduction part,mainly stating the research background,significance of the topic and research methodology.Chapter two is the theoretical foundation part,which gives definitions of related concepts and provides the theoretical foundations.Moreover,literature reviews both at home and abroad are presented.Chapter three is the research design part.It delineates research thoughts,research object,research hypothesis,questionnaire design and pretest situations.Chapter four is the part showing descriptive analysis of empirical research samples of teacher career management under the view of"work-family" balance.Descriptive and contrastive methods are applied to analyze all samples and the calculation method of this research is illustrated.Chapter five analyzes the empirical research results of career management of young university teachers in Guangxi from the perspective of "work-family"balance.This chapter analyzes collected samples and discusses the results,major conclusions being made.Chapter six is the part exploring intervention strategies of young university teachers'career management under "Work-Family" Balance Theory.Suggestions are given from three dimensions:national society,university organizations and individual teachers.Chapter seven is the conclusion part.Conclusions of this research are elaborated as well as limitations of the research.
