With the rapid development of the domestic education, the development of teachersare concerned. They play an indispensable role in school. Teacher’s professional identityis related to the ability of working at ease, teaching in a happy mood. Teachers’professional identity relies on their recognition and acceptance on teaching. It directlyaffects teachers’ professional identity of teachers to work on their own satisfaction. Thehigher degree of professional identity of teachers, teachers’ working efficiency will behigher, and it will also reduce the rate of teachers’ turn over. Concerned about theprofessional identity of teachers, it not only helps teachers to improve their effectivenessof teaching, but also promote the growth of the teachers themselves. Besides that,teachers’ professional identity is also useful for teachers’ stability, and promote thedevelopment of higher education.In this study, the author uses a questionnaire survey method to objectively outlinethe status of professional identity of young teachers in colleges and universities inUrumqi, and then assisted with the literature and interviews to analyze professionalidentity problems and counter measures, which proposed to increase the Urumqi methodsyoung teacher professional identity.The findings of this study were:(1) A higher overall level of professional identity ofyoung university teachers in Urumqi. Among them, the career expectations had thehighest score, the lowest score is professional values.(2) The difference between thelevel of teachers’ professional identity is significantly different type of school.(3) Theindividual characteristics of variables such as: tribes, education, job title and age affectyoung university teachers professional identity IN Urumqi.(4) The factors of youngcollege teachers’ professional identity also includes school management, salarycompensation, working environment, teacher’s training, family, quality of students andteachers in general self-efficacy.Based on survey data and analysis of the results, the study proposed to improve theprofessional identity of teachers Urumqi youth countermeasures. Firstly, young teachersshould foster positive emotions and have the right career professional values; Secondly,university teachers recruited from the strict customs, improve the treatment of teachers,young teachers rich training content and training methods such as baking changes tomake improvements.
