In the21stcentury, multimedia technology and network technology, as the coreof the modern information technology has become the driving force of educationalreform. Information technology in education is an important means to cultivate highquality talents, so the new curriculum standard requires teachers to use informationtechnology in teaching reasonably. Since2009, the new presentation software, Prezihas become the world’s15thlearning tool. To use Prezi in junior high school Englishteaching process is a concrete manifestation of Integration ICT into Curriculum,complied with the new curriculum advocated "development-oriented" core teachingphilosophy.Research methods used in this paper include literature analysis, educationalexperiment, questionnaire and interview. Firstly, to analysis the relevant literature andlay the foundation for the theory and methodology of this article. According to therequirements of junior middle school English curriculum standard, curriculum designand unit Prezi courseware have been designed. Relying on the Nanchang Y schoolEnglish multimedia teaching environment, the seventh grade students were chosen asthe research object of this teaching experiment, divided into experimental and controlclasses. Then through teaching evaluation, questionnaire investigation and interview,integrate data and statistics were collected. By using SPSS tool, analyzing thecourseware influence on students’ learning attitude, learning effect, and students’teaching evaluation of courseware. The author summed up the impact of mediacourseware to junior high school English teaching with the quantitative analysis andqualitative analysis, combined with problems found in teaching practice, put forwardrelevant countermeasures about to strengthen teachers’ information skills and trainstudents’ self-learning ability.Prezi has the characteristics of simpleness and universal promotion in juniorhigh school classroom, which has a positive effect on improving the quality and promoting the reform of English teaching. It is necessary to further expand the Preziin the application of multidisciplinary teaching and research.
