| Nowadays, with the development of information technology and the education concept, the application of multimedia courseware in teaching is increasingly wider than before. The multimedia courseware has become an important tool for teachers to teach. The choice of the multimedia presentation software gradually becomes one of the factors affecting the quality of teaching. Junior high school teachers should make full use of the software's advantages to maximize the teaching effect.This study selects PowerPoint and Prezi as objects to compare. In this paper, research methods include the literature research, comparative study, educational experiment and investigation. After making the courseware, it is applied to two parallel classes of biological teaching. Then using SPSS software analyzing pre-test and post-test data, it turns out that the Prezi or PowerPoint has a very effective impact on teaching. Through the questionnaire of the students and the interview of teachers, combined with the comparison of two kinds of software development, performance and the analysis of survey results, this research concludes that Prezi can attract the attention of students and stimulate students' learning motivation. Then it will improve the biological grades of students and can be used in junior high school for teaching biology. Although PowerPoint is commonly used with linear presentation, students are more familiar with the method of the review. The student's learning effect is equally good. PowerPoint is still the first choice for teachers in biology teaching. Prezi will not be applied widely in China unless it can support Chinese well. Finally, this research puts forward suggestions to find the demonstration software with the best effect, and hopes to be a reference for the teaching of biology teachers in junior high school. |
