Since the college expansion of1999, Chinese higher education gradually enteredthe fast track of development and made remarkable achievements. Globalproliferation, profound and forward-looking research results. Overall and deep,forward-looking research in large numbers, has laid a solid theoretical foundation forthe further development of higher education research. This article aims to study themain research progress in higher education through statistical analysis on the numberof high-quality literature resources. On the one hand, it can help researchers reflect onpast research experience, on the other hand, it can provide valuable information toselect subjects for future research directions of higher education.This thesis based on published papers on <Higher Education Research>(Wuhan)from1999to2012. Applying the relative research method of knowledge graph andthe CiteSpace software, I mainly reorganized the key development of highereducation in China. Meanwhile, I reviewed and expected the tendency from differentviewpoints, such as objects of study, popular issues, knowledge basis and researchfronts.Specifically, by the author co-citation analysis, institutional analysis of existingresearch to find the main body of higher education. Through co-word analysis to showhotspots of higher education. By co-citation analysis of access to research intellectivebase of higher education. Using burst article and terms to explore research front ofhigher education. Cited the current higher education policy and related well-knownscholars research achievements, integrated to predict the future trend of highereducation research in our country.
