Physical concepts are contents of the most important and basic in junior highphysics. As a part of physical concepts, electricity concepts are the focus of learningcontent in junior high school. But there is a big problem in junior high school studentsto learn electricity concepts, one of the reasons is that there are problems in learningstyles of electricity concepts.In this paper, based on humanism, cognitive and constructivist learning theories,drawing on the research results of others, from the common student learning,students’satisfaction with common learning styles, teachers’ attitudes toward learningstyles and difficulties of using common learning styles four dimensions drawing upinvestigation questionnaire of the learning styles of the junior high school inelectricity concepts, and some aspects of the problem are more in-depth investigatedvia interview. Survey is the Grade9students of M high school (rural middle school)N County of Lanzhou City, Gansu Province.In rear of total research and investigation, following basic conclutions can bereached:Junior high school students’ learning styles of learning electricity conceptsinclude self-learning, cooperative learning and inquiry learning;When learningelectricity concepts, the vast majority of junior high school students like cooperativelearning and inquiry learning, most students like self-learning;When junior highschool students with independent, cooperative learning and inquiry to learn electricityconcepts, the vast majority of students are sometimes encouraged by the teacher, butmost students are often encouraged by the teacher;When junior high schoolstudentsuse elf-learning, the difficulties of students are heavy task assignments and do nothave time;While in cooperative learning and inquiry learning, the difficulties ofstudents do not have time and do not like;The satisfaction of inquiry learning in juniorhigh school students relate to student’s family: the students of rural families are moresatisfied with inquiry learning.;Junior high school students’ gender, age, family, andthe father, mother occupation have varying degrees of impact on the choice styles oflearning electricity concepts.According to the theory and the conclusion of the study, made the followingteaching suggestions:Teachers should train students’ learning styles of electricity concepts; Teachers should encourage students to learn a variety of learning styles;Teachers should reasonable and appropriate to allocate learning tasks.
