In the last30years, Many curriculum reforms which have international influence have emphasized to provide students the chance to feel scientific inquiry and its methods, and have also emphasized the cultivation of scientific ability and earning style. To comply with the trend of the development of the time, our curriculum reform put forward to the task of changing students’ learning way, and request to "change the present situation of putting too much emphasis on accepting study, rote memory, mechanical training in the course implementation, and advocate the students to actively participate in activities, get ready to explore, do things on hand diligently, to cultivate students’ abilities of collecting and processing information, of acquiring new knowledge, analyzing and solving problems and communicating and cooperating." So Autonomous learning style, cooperative learning style, inquiry learning style and information technology assisted learning style become the following learning style and get great development after the traditional learning style.This study takes students’ learning modes of the grade3students of four ordinary middle schools in Yangzhou as research object, analyzes the status of the investigation to find the current problems in junior high school students’ learning ways in Yangzhou, puts forward some strategies to solve these problems, and finds out a better way for students to learn from investigation data. According to the provisions of the current outline to the new approach and the call to information technology assisted learning from times, this paper divides the way of study into five kinds of learning methods, which are giving-receiving learning, autonomous learning, cooperative learning, inquiry learning and information technology assisted learning (in this paper we will call giving-receiving learning traditional or old ways of learning, other four learning ways will be called the new study way), and we set the content of the questionnaire on the basis of the characteristics of these five kinds of learning. Also we will pay attention to the influence of student’s gender and achievement in learning differences to their learning styles. Therefore the main research contents of this research are:Chapter1:the introduction section. This section mainly introduced the research background, the purpose, significance and research contents and methods. Chapter2:review section. This part of the first discuss the literature from three aspects of learning ways, namely, ways of learning definitions and classifications research, ways of learning related research and learning mode, then the time study of learning style, learning methods and learning strategies related concepts of learning style differentiates, finally introduces the research of the five kinds of learning style.Chapter3:questionnaire design part. This part of the first introduced the survey of purpose, and questionnaire survey objects, and then introduced recovery of the design and forecasting try questionnaire, finally through questionnaire analysis proves the software reliability and validity.Chapter4:data analysis section. This part of the questionnaire from six aspects, namely, the data is analyzed for ways of learning students in learning attitude analysis, students’ way of understanding analysis, students to study way sorting analysis, students to study way behavior analysis, the teacher’s behavior analysis and students to study way self control condition analysis.Chapter5:conclusions and Suggestions section. This part of the first introduced the investigation of six conclusions and combining the cause analysis of the questionnaire, and then from students, teachers, school and family and education policy makers four aspects to improve middle-school students study way forward concrete Suggestions.
