Research On The Government Behavior In Sports Enterprise Development

The development level of sports enterprise embodies a country’s national physical quality and it is a reflection of a country’s comprehensive national strength. The sports enterprise is also an important part of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. After the founding of New China, the party and government attached great importance to the development of undertakings of physical culture and sports, and put state system into practice in the management of sports cause, which is the embodiment of the universal government in the sports field. Under the state system, the government intervened on all aspects of the undertakings of physical culture and sports, which gathered the country’s resources effectively, and promoted the development of early sports enterprise in our country, especially the competitive sports’rapid development. However, as the market economic system gradually established, the planned economy system on which the state system relied has collapsed, and the government behavior in the sports management showed more and more shortcomings and defects, and there were more and more people’s criticisms to the sports system. There are growing calls of sports socialization and mercerization as well as the sports management system reform, and the transition of government function. Therefore, further analyzing the government behavior’s validity and limitation in the development of our country’s sport enterprise is of considerable realistic significance.This article is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction. First of all, this article briefly introduced the background and significance of the selected topic, and then analyzed research reviews of sports causes and the government behaviors in sports causes’development. Also the article simply introduced the main contents, research methods, the exploration and innovation of the research, ending with a definition and interpretation of the main concepts and supporting theories. The second, the third, and the fourth part are roughly same on the structure of prose. The three parts discussed the development of Chinese table tennis in three periods:before the reform and opening up, the early period of reform and opening up and after the construction of the club system. The three parts all firstly introduced the development of table tennis in each period, and then explained intervention measures which were taken by the government for the development of Chinese table tennis, such as policy, system, laws and regulations. The last part is discussion, which analyzed and discussed the government behaviors’ influences of in different periods on the development of table tennis. The fifth part, based on the former three parts, illustrated the validity of government from the view of political, social and economic benefits, and analyzed the limitations of government behavior in the development of sports enterprise. The sixth part, the conclusion, had been vividly portrayed on the basis of thorough analysis of preamble supported by limited government theory:The government role in the development of sports enterprise should be correctly positioned and the transformation of government functions as well as the further development of sports management system reform should be promoted. The exploration and innovation of this paper is that it basing on the case, table tennis, uses historical methods expounding the table tennis’s developing situation as well as government’s intervention on its development in each stage, and analyzes the government behavior’s influences on table tennis of each period. Then on this basis the paper further analyzes the government behavior’s validity and limitation in the development of our country’s sport cause, and finally draws the conclusion.
