The Researches On The Transformation Of Government Functions In The Sports Market In China

With the establishment and improvement of socialist market economy system in our country, the market for sports is at a crucial stage of development and relevant reforms are taking place smoothly. However, government functions as the"tangible hands"in market mechanism play a particularly important role in the healthy development of sports market. Currently, building a service-oriented government is both an important task for the government in the new era and a critical criterion of government development itself, and it matters a lot whether this project is successful or not. Therefore we should explore the innovative frame for the government functions in the field of sports market development in the present stage based on China's economy reform and its effects and learn from foreign advanced experience so that some advice can be given on the role positioning of our government in sports market and also on the development of building a service-oriented government in terms of sports market development. This thesis is based on the innovative frame and concerns itself with the study on the transformation of patterns and ways of government functions in the sports market development under the guidance of the scientific outlook on development to achieve ideal government functions. Using literature review, this thesis studies the formation and development of sports market, and the relationship between sports market and government functions; using expert interview, this thesis collects materials about experts'opinions on the problems which might occur during government functions transformation for sports market in our country; using grounded theory, this thesis analyzes materials collected and puts forward some paths government can choose from when they are conducting functions transformation, and some conclusions are drawn as follows: on the one hand, government should be clearly aware of its new role, and on the other hand, government should transform the administrative power to service. So this thesis can wipe out the theoretical obstacles when it comes to government functions transformation in sports market, and provide sound references for government to make related policies.
