S’University, is a national key university, which is directly attached to the Department of Education, and is among the first batch of key universities in "Project211". After many years of development, S’UNIVERSITY has developed two campuses:the old one, Guanghua Campus, is located in downtown of ChengDu; and the new one, Liulin Campus, which is located in WenJiang.Since2009, undergraduate and graduated students were transferred from the Guanghua Campus to Liulin Campus gradually. This movement, had made the main campus of S’UNIVERSITY shifted from Guanghua Campus to Liulin Campus, which means a large scale resources of Guanghua Campus will be idle. Nowadays only overseas students, professional degree education, and adult education schools remain in the Guanghua Campus. We are faced with many urgent problem such as how to use the remaining resources effectively and efficiently, or how to make the culture heritage of Guanghua campus pass along.As a result of being built in installment, bearing the pressure of universities enrollment in the construction process, and meeting emergencies, the structure of Guanghua campus lacks a unified continuous planning. It is necessary to re-examine the planning and construct process, and also to make reasonable adjustments. The relocation of the main campus is a historic opportunity to re-plan, settle, and comprehensive utilization of Guanghua Campus resources.The author did abundant researches to summarize experiences from the construction of many famous campuses by architecture, assimilate the elements of those campuses around the world, and then obtained theoretical foundations and references. Combining the actual condition of Guanghua campus, the author summarized and identified problems below through field investigation, analyzation and itemization:Its planning and design, road traffic, and the allocation of resources have been out of date. The dominant problem of Campus Management is the lack of architectural culture and heritage, the waste of existing resources, the undeveloped potential resources and so on.By means of interviewing outstanding alumni, campus management staff, professors and students, applying the PEST, SWOT analysis and the custom classification analysis, the author from the operator’s point of view, inspired from the real estate business industry, management, planning and design, financial management theory, did deeper extraction, on the analysis of Guanghua campus.Ultimately, this article proposes the principle of transformation, establishing The Palace Hall of Heritable Business Studies in Western" strategy. The author decomposes and refines the strategic, proposes solutions and implement programs, and gives implementation plan diagram and flow chart.However, the transformation of the campus is an emerging but inevitable domestic task. The unknown nature of the land and planning, the large funding gap and the lack of special management team are a series of questions wait to be solved.In brieft, the transformation of the new campus is a complex, long and challenging process.
