After entering the21st century, all fields of the society are changing quickly, including teaching mode, which is developing toward humanization and diversification. People gradually realize that the ability of the students’ innovation is the key to the future competition. Just as the new syllabus of middle school pointed out, math teaching activities should inspire the students’interests, activate their learning enthusiasm, conduct their mathematical thinking and encourage their innovative thinking. However, in the former teaching process, the teaching mode in which the teachers are the conductors greatly affected the students’degree of thinking activity. What’s the worse; it can even kill the students’talent in math. As a result, it is very important to bring in the innovative thinking to the modern teaching education.The main goal of this research is to raise the students’level of mathematical innovative thinking. The following is the research approach of this study. After analyzing the abroad and domestic literature on this theory as well as its research status, make the study point clear, that is, to use the advantage of Ming Mapping to promote the development of the students’mathematical innovative thinking. The teaching practice is on the basis of how to judge a parallelogram, which digested from the19th chapter of middle school math from the PEP edition. According to questionnaire, we can have a better understanding of the advantage and disadvantage of mind mapping in training the students’ mathematical innovative thinking.This teaching practice is on the basis of mind mapping to cultivating the students’ innovative mathematical thinking. There must be many shortcomings. During the practice process, because of the poorly teaching condition, the mind mapping designs of the students in the practice process were only demonstrated by hands-written. Therefore, it can not show the dominate strength of mind mapping in computer efficiently In addition, because of the limited time and the experimental surrounding, the systematical teaching mode can not be founded. As a result, the study needs further improving.
