The establishment of "Chinese traditional music teaching system" is a goalwhich music scholars continuing to pursue. The local music education in school is animportant measure to implement this grand blueprint, this paper studied the traditionalmusic of Yuanjiang City is exactly an important part of traditional folk music, whichhas its unique history and charming; while to provide reference for the Chinesetraditional music teaching system in China.In this study, the researcher used the method of document study and fieldwork todo this study. First of all, reasearcher made the Yuanjiang City history of traditionalmusic, performances, musical form, function changes and heritage status into acomprehensive investigation and research; then, to consider it as a traditional musiccourse research from the philosophy curriculum framework and practical aspects ofteaching; finally, discusses the research on Chinese traditional music pedagogy.The cross-border research methods provides a good perspective for researcherswhich music education research methods combine with the ethnomusicology methods.Thus, Yuanjiang City Traditional music itself has not only been studied in depth, butalso for the local indigenous musical heritage provides an effective way; speakingfrom the other side, but also for music education researchers provides a practical,comprehensive reference other relevant disciplines of new research perspective. Themost important is that the author got the useful suggestions in these practices andfieldwork, all these achievements providing a reference template to other researchers.
