Traditional folk music culture is the one that is with rich local characteristics. To a certain extent, it reflected the collective wisdom of working people. It should be preserved and taught in school, which is not only helpful for people to inherit and explore our traditional culture, but also serves as a solid foundation for normal people to appreciate and further develop our traditional music culture. "Native language music culture" was first appeared in the new music curriculum standards. It is also a question asked by experts after a decade of curriculum reform. It indicates that Chinese music educators have a deep understanding to the importance and urgency of inheriting national excellent culture tradition after the years of experiment courses. It also indicates the decision and action of the music foundation education workers to participate in the building of "The Chinese Native Music Culture Education System". As a native of Xinjiang, we are charged with our responsibility to preserving our Jiangzhou drum music. Therefore, School education become an main way to study Jiangzhou drum music. There have been some teaching practices in the local schools, and has made considerable progress.
