Research On Cultivation Of Responsible Citizenship In Universities Under The Perspective Of Chinese Dream

Chinese dream is the historical background of the cultivation of responsible citizenship in universities. Chinese dream is a dream of the nation, but also personal dream of every Chinese, its realization requires the efforts of all the people. Young students are the important practitioner of Chinese dream, the young college students should be under the guidance of Chinese dream to achieve personal dream, but also shoulder the responsibility entrusted by the times and strive to promote the realization of Chinese dream. University is the point of departure for young students to enter the society, but also the important place for the formation of word outlook, philosophy, idea of value and the responsible awareness. University should bear the burden of the cultivation of responsible citizenship. Specially, the main part of the paper is as follows:The introduction briefly expatiates to the origin, significance, approach and the study status of related issues in domestic and foreign academic circles about the paper.The first part committed to clarify the related concepts and analyze the relationship between them. The essence of Chinese dream is the realization of national rejuvenation, the country prosperous and the happiness of the people. Responsible citizenship emphasizes the civic responsibility and civic virtues, moreover, responsible citizenship in universities has its own requirements. Chinese dream can guide the cultivation of responsible citizenship towards the positive side, and they are the important support strength to realize Chinese dream.The second part, specify the basic theory of responsible citizenship in universities, including responsibility ethics of Chinese traditional culture, the theory of political socialization and citizenship. Among them, responsibility ethics of Chinese traditional culture is the ethics dimension, the theory of political socialization is the political dimension, and the theory of citizenship is the direct theoretical foundation.In the third part of this paper, we analysis the content of the cultivation of responsible citizenship in universities, includes the responsibility in the public domain and the private sphere. The responsibility in public domain includes national responsibility, the responsibility for others and social responsibility. The responsibility in private sphere includes individual responsibility and family responsibility.The forth part, the article proposes the path selection of the cultivation of responsible citizenship in universities. Universities should take the Chinese dream as the value orientation, setting up the curriculum of responsible citizenship awareness, constructing the public life on campus to practice responsible behavior, carrying out the service activities to communicate the campus and the society, providing students with the opportunity and ways to practice, to cultivate college students become the citizen of responsibilities.
