With the increasingly importance of Digital Citizenship Education for cultivating teenagers' abilities to achieve successfully Digital Being,many scholars and organizations in educational circles around the world have joined the researches based on the school environment.At the same time,they paid less attention to family influences on teenagers'digital growth.This study,firstly,summarized the latest research progresses of Digital Citizenship Education and family influences on Digital Citizenship.And then it was summing up the family influences on teenagers' growth by reviewing studies to extract three elements,as parents' computer experiences,Internet attitude and computer self-efficacy.And then,there were 397 data samples from three schools which located in central China by using online questionnaire method.Further,this study analyzed the whole cultivation level of teenagers' digital citizenship,the different gender's influences on the cultivation of teenagers' digital citizenship by using independent samples T test,and the influences of different computer experience on cultivation of teenagers' digital citizenship by using Analysis of Variance.As well as it was using Multivariate Analysis of Variance to exam the effects of parents' computer experiences on cultivation of teenagers' digital citizenship,and by using statistical analysis and Pearson Correlation Coefficient test to analyze the influence of parents' Internet attitudes and computer self-efficacy on cultivation of teenagers' digital citizenship.Based on the questionnaire data and the related analysis,the main conclusions of this study are as follows:Firstly,the level of the cultivation of teenagers' digital citizenship is higher,especially in Digital Security,Digital Commerce and Digital Etiquette.In addition,there is a significant difference between male and female in the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation.As well as there is a significant difference between teenagers' different levels of age and length of computers using,and the use of computers has been basically proportional to the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation.Secondly,parents' Internet attitudes and computer self-efficacy can affect teenagers'digital citizenship cultivation in the real world as well as in the virtual world.But parents'computer use experience is not related to the level of teenagers'digital citizenship cultivation.In addition,parents' Internet attitude shows a high correlation with teenagers'Digital Rights&Responsibilities and Digital Security;parents' computer self-efficacy shows a high correlation with Digital Health&Wellness and Digital Etiquette.Thirdly,teenagers and parents have more frequent exchanges.In addition,there are significant differences between the frequency of communication with parents and the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation;and the frequency of chatting with parents is directly proportional to the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation;there is a significant difference between the different the ways of communication with parents and the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation,which means the ways of communication with parents can influent the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation.The purpose of different communication with parents will affect the level of teenagers' digital citizenship cultivation,and the more they talk about problems of computer and Internet,the higher the mean.Finally,according to the above findings and conclusions,several operational recommendations and suggestions were proposed to provide useful references for educators who putting the future development of Digital Citizenship Education and conducting the relevant researches.The specific contents as following:(1)improving parents' Internet attitude and computer self-efficacy;(2)promoting the appropriateness of parent-child communication;(3)establishing a good family atmosphere.
