Since the reform and opening up, with the rapid development of China’s increasing economy and people’s living standards, the income gap becomes too large, and focuses public concern. Facing all the negative economic and social impact brought by the income gap, the Chinese government is actively exploring various solutions to make the income gap narrowed. The author believes that the income gap is too big to solve the problem, you must first find out the factors which affect the distribution of income, and then targeted to be addressed. Generally, factors that affect the distribution of income are diverse, such as the distribution system, distribution policy, the structure of employment, education, personal endowments, which will affect the distribution of income. And education as the main via human capital investment, directly determines the level of people’s income growth and the pace. This paper from the perspective of educational expansion takes Tianjin for example to expand education and income distribution, hoping to provide some reference for the government to introduce relevant policies through the study of this issue, and to ease income Tianjin area gap helpfully.In this paper,base on scholars from home and abroad on the basis of existing research, we studied the distribution of income and educational development of Tianjin.Then measure the population in Tianjin1990-2011average years of schooling, educational inequality,1990-2011in Tianjin income Gini coefficient. And on this basis, we use time series analysis, the Tianjin Municipal Education expansion and income distribution empirical research to draw the appropriate conclusions:Education is an important factor affecting the income gap. We must pay more attention to education, through the implementation of educational policies to improve the income gap. Tianjin stage data show that the expansion of education and income gap exists an inverted U-shaped relationship, and in the right side of the inflection point. Before the expansion of the previous stage, education will increase income inequality, a later stage, continuing the expansion of education up to a certain extent, it will narrow the income gap. Based on the above analysis, the article finally come to the following policy recommendations:The government should continue to increase education spending, reduce the fairness of education,which is to alleviate inequalities in income distribution...
