For a long time the problem of "agriculture, countryside, farmer"is much attention of the state and society. The rural youth as the main force in theconstruction of new socialist countryside, who is a strong ability to accept,to paymore attention to the development of rural youth groups, to maximize the rural youthgroup’s potential and energy that in order to better promote the development of"agriculture, rural areas and farmers".Autonomous learning is as the basis of today’srural youth lifelong development, to meet the diversified demands of rural youth.Either rural youth themselves or the whole learning society development needs ruralyouth autonomous learning. Therefore, research on rural youth learning has acertain significance.In combination with related literature domestic and abroad autonomouslearning theory systematically, in order to understand the rural youth of autonomouslearning.This study used a questionnaire,interviews and field observation,toinvestigation of the present situation of autonomous learning of rural youth in CaidianDistrict, Wuhan, analysis of the current situation of rural youth autonomous learning,and explore the characteristics of autonomous learning and its influencing factors, andon this basis, to seek the effective suggestions and countermeasures, specifically, thefull text is divided into four sections as follows:Part I: The main issues raised included study theoretical and practicalsignificance. Research objectives, research contents, research methods and so on.Part II: Review of relevant theoretical research on rural youth,to learn self-definition and related concepts as well as domestic and international research.Part III: Based on the Caidian District of Wuhan City as an example of ruralyouth to know autonomy learning status.Analysis of the current situation of rural youth autonomous learning investigation, including the basic situation of rural youth,rural youth learning characteristics and influence factors.Part IV:The research based on the basis of analysis on the present situationinvestigation, put forward to promote the suggestions and countermeasures of therural youth autonomous learning.On the one hand, From the external supportconditions to promote the realization of the rural youth autonomous learning severalcountermeasures: First, to create the information service platform, provide a richlearning resources, improve the independent learning conditions.Second, rich learningcontent, to help rural youth to establish a reasonable knowledge structure.Third,establish rural learning organization, to create a good learningenvironment.Fourth, care and support rural youth, to promote self-esteem andself-efficacy. On the other hand,which is about the suggestions put forward by theyoung rural themselves. First,to maximize individual potential and active learning.Second, to make good use of learning resources, the initiative to create learningconditions.Third, the active use of awareness of learning strategies, self regulatedlearning ability.Fourth, develop self-reflection,self evaluation, effective control ofautonomous learning behavior.
