The current era is one that advocates autonomous learning increasingly,and the focus of educational work turns from imparting fixed knowledge and skills to shaping individual free personality.The fundamental task of schooling is to teach individuals how to learn,how to solve problems,and how to survive.Autonomous learning is not only a basic way for individuals to acquire knowledge and skills and promote their all-round development,but also an inevitable requirement for them to maintain their lifelong learning ability.Different students have different self-management abilities,and the cultivation process of autonomous learning ability is also different from person to person.Continuous cultivation and development are required,which cannot be accomplished overnight.The cultivation should start from primary school,laying an important foundation for the future middle school,university and even lifelong learning.Therefore,it is particularly important to investigate pupils' autonomous learning status and cultivate pupils' autonomous learning ability.Based on the literature research and daily observation,this paper mainly uses the interview method and questionnaire survey method to investigate and analyze the current situation of primary school students' autonomous learning.The author has conducted a questionnaire survey and interview with primary school students and their parents from grade2 to grade 6 of three primary school in Zhangjiakou since October 2018.A total of 26 questions were included in the questionnaire,including 20 questions for students and 6questions for parents.A total of 723 questionnaires were issued and collected,including 164 questions for the second grade,153 questions for the third grade,171 questions for the fourth grade,151 questions for the fifth grade and 84 questions for the sixth grade.Through the sorting,statistics and analysis of the survey and interview results,it is found that there are many problems in the independent learning of primary school students,which are classified as follows from internal and external aspects:1.From the perspective of primary school students themselves,there are three problems:insufficient motivation for primary school students to learn independently,insufficient strategies for primary school students to learn independently,and weak actions for primary school students to learn independently.2.From the external aspects related to primary school students' independent learning,family education lacks experience in cultivating primary school students' independent learning,schools lack independent learning education methods,and educational management departments have insufficient impetus.Aiming at the existing problem of primary school students autonomous learning,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and Suggestions: 1.To strengthen the concept of autonomous learning guide.2.To give full play to the education administrative department,implement the top guide to promote.3.Specific methods for teachers and parents to promote students' independent learning.4.Optimize the home-school communication mechanism to form a synergy of independent learning and education.5.Give play to the magnetic field of campus culture and create a strong atmosphere of independent learning.
