The multimedia equipment has been spread in schools all over thecountry, most teachers are already accustomed to using multimedia assisted instruction,such as PPT courseware, animation, experimental video and other multimedia teachingresources gradually being used to assist chemistry teaching, however, most of theseteaching resources and courseware are not only scattered which don’t have systematicand integrity, but also they lack interactivity, which lead to less interaction betweenstudents and teachers. So, the birth of a systematic multimedia teaching platform whichcovers rich teaching resources and interactive courseware is an urgent requirement forchemistry teaching.The purpose of this study is to find the characteristics of current middle schoolchemistry interactive simulation teaching platform” in the teaching application andsome shortcomings and problems of the platform in assisting instruction, and putforward the specific suggestions for its improvement, so that it can better assist middleschool chemistry teaching, solve some difficulties and outstanding problems of currentmiddle school chemistry teaching. Through literature study, interviews survey,questionnaire survey and test survey, quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis and otherstudy methods, the paper surveys and studies the effect of this platform assistedinstruction. The paper includes six parts.Through literature study and interviews survey, the first part mainly introduceddevelopment history and study status of domestic and foreign multimedia assistedinstruction, put forward the difficulties and outstanding problems of middle school chemistry teaching, stated the background,purpose, significance, ideas of this study.Through literature study, the second part mainly identified concepts related to thisstudy.The third part mainly introduced in detail “Junior Middle School Chemistryinteractive Simulation Teaching Platform” and “High School Chemistry interactiveSimulation Teaching Platform” which are studied and developed by the author and themultimedia studio other members after effort of ten years, and respectively introducedthe teaching characteristics, usage and expected results in the process of assist teachingof all kinds of multimedia teaching resources in the teaching platform.Through interviews survey and questionnaire survey to some teachers of using theplatporm assist teaching, questionnaire survey and test survey to some students, thefourth part mainly arranged and counted all the results of survey, and respectivelyquantitative analyse and qualitative analyse the statistical results.The fifth part is the summary and induction of this study results. The authorcompared and analysed all survey results, summarized some outstanding advantagesand disadvantages of the teaching platform in assisting middle school chemistryteaching.The sixth part is the last part of this paper, which is the reflection and outlook onthe study results. First, this part rethinked profoundly the shortcomings and problems ofthe current “Middle school chemistry interactive simulation teaching platform” and theplatform in assisting middle school teaching, and put forward specific and substantivesuggestions in its future improved direction, try to make the platform can moreeffectively assist middle school chemistry teaching in the process of continuouslyimprove, supplement and perfect;Finally, looked forward to the application prospect inin assisting teaching and learning of middle school chemistry.
