Recent years, there have been some disputes over the "sex problems" in thesociety. For instance,female singers rfom the Super Girls contest look like men;meanwhile, so called Weiniang (Cross-dresser) which means a man behaves anddresses like a pretty woman becomes a fad in the cyber world. Even worse,sexual assault among youngsters keeps on rising. In primary school,we foundsome girls esp. in the iftfh grade already have certain sexual awareness with theirphysiological development and their menstruation first occurrence. Therefore,adolescent sex education is a must both at school and in the society. This thesismainly adopted literature research, interviews, questionnaires and experimentalmethods to conduct research on adolescent sex education among iftfh gradestudents. First,we investigated the related needs of iftfh grade students throughinterviews and questionnaires. Then, based on the above result, we conducted arelevant education in students. Through this research, we explored the effect ofsex education on students’ attitudes and knowledge as well as explored the’contents and methods of sex education so as to meet students needs. We alsoprovided empirical data for future research in this ifeld.Conclusions:1.Fitfh grade students have certain understanding on adolescent sexualknowledge. However, there are signiifcant differences between boys and girls inpuberty knowledge and knowledge of relations between the sexes. Girls scoredsignificantly higher than boys. On the sex knowledge acquisition, sources areschool education, family education, peer exchange, books and media. Amongthem, school and family education are not the main ways to obtain suchknowledge. To the knowledge Students need most is self-protection.2.On the concept of sex physiology, students’ self-assessment is “not quiteunderstand". On the relations between the sexes, students showed “indifferent”attitude. On the degree of concern, fitfh grade students responded “so so”.3.Adolescent sex education can improve students’ awareness of sexualphysiological knowledge in this age. Their self-protection knowledge could beaffected by the related social events. 4. Adolescent sex education can significantly improve students’self-evaluation on the understanding of physiology concept. Atfer receiving theeducation, students are satisifed and their attitude toward this education shitfedinto "positive". On the degree of concern of sex and relations between the sexes,student’s attitudes is no significant change.
