This Research is about the school-based high school ideological and political curriculum in Shanghai. It is developed from five aspects. In the general introduction part, it analyzes the status, the definition, the meaning and the study methodsof this subject. The second part mainly talks about the value of the school-based high school ideological and political curriculum from three aspects of student, teacher and school. The school-based curriculum will increase students’ interest of study to make them study actively, expand students’ knowledge to develop their thinking ability, strengthen students’ learning ability and practical capability. Moreover, it will improve the professional development of the teacher and the development of the school with features. In the third part, it summarizes the main characteristics of school-based high school ideological and political curriculum in shanghai based on the status research of Shanghai Qi Bao high school. The paper analyzes the problems and the reason of them from three periods of curriculum construction, curriculum implementation, and curriculum assessment. In the final part, according to those problems, it puts forward suggestions from three aspects.
