Fall2010, sichuan province ordinary high school full access to the new curriculumreform. With the pace of Chinese new curriculum reform, high school elective course ofChinese modern poetry teaching has exposed many problems. For more realunderstanding BaZhongShi elective course learning situation and the ordinary highschool students modern poetry as a teacher of the subject teaching situation, the authorof bazhong middle school to the city,2foreign language school, senior high school,longquan, four high school of school students and the teacher conducted a questionnairesurvey. Through the analysis of the valid questionnaires, the summary, the author foundthat the exam-oriented education, teachers’ quality and characteristics of modern poetrymade the modern poetry courses were both teaching and learning.In view of this, this article based on the related teaching theory, combined withhigh school students’ psychological characteristics and own teaching practice experience,through the investigation and analysis, this paper points out that modern poetry specificproblems that exist in the elective course teaching present situation, and put forwardcountermeasures. Full text is divided into four chapters, the main content is as follows:The first chapter, the paper expounds this topic the research background,significance, methods, and the status quo, and the modern poetry elective course forhigh schools are in the position in Chinese teaching, high school elective courses andrequired course of modern poetry in the poetry, the relationship between thecharacteristics of modern poetry elective course textbook for senior middle school, theteaching requirements of the new curriculum elective course of modern poetry to do.The second chapter, mainly for many problems in high school Chinese modernpoetry elective course teaching, the author USES the bearer form, design a"questionnaire", let the students and fill in the elective course teacher of modern poetry,and analyzes the results of the surveyThe third chapter, according to the result of the investigation, this paper analyzesthe reason of the elective course teaching problems BaZhongShi modern poetry.The fourth chapter, based on the analysis of the reasons, combined with his ownteaching practice, puts forward improving BaZhongShi modern poetry elective courseteaching ideas.
