A Study On Coping Mechanism To Emergencies In Higher Vocational Colleges

As the important part of our national higher education, the harmony of vocationalcolleges plays a significant role in building a harmonious society. In recent years, withthe fast development of economy, constant deepening of reform and fast pace ofindustrial transformation, some emergencies in colleges often happened, and manykinds of emergencies happened of which some affected colleges. These were affectedreputation, image, teaching and life of colleges in some degree. Nowadays althoughgovernments and universities have paid attention to emergencies management and havesome achievements, the coping mechanism to emergencies has some problems on lessprevention, monitor mechanism and rehabilitate mechanism. Thus, the research to thecoping mechanism to emergencies in colleges is very important.In the basis of analyzing the types, features and causes of emergencies, weconclude and summarize current situation of coping mechanism to emergencies invocational college through analyzing how four vocational colleges to cope theemergencies. We should build the coping mechanism to emergencies in vocationalcolleges with the ideas of people-orient and prevention, the principle of scientificcoping, information disclosure, rapid response, multilateral cooperation, the guaranteeof institution. Then according to three periods of emergencies in vocational college, webuild corresponding the warning mechanism, the coping mechanism and aftermathcoping mechanism. Finally, on the basis of coping mechanism to emergencies invocational colleges, we also propose the relevant strategies of preventing and dealingwith emergencies in vocational colleges.
