On the basis of the research into real-life oriented teaching, learning plan, and thecurrent situation of learning Chemistry in senior high school, along with the guidance oflife education theory, theory of constructivism, theory of situated cognition and zone ofproximal development, this essay analyzes the significance of introducing real-lifeelements into learning plan in chemistry, the misunderstanding while choosing materials,and puts forward the criteria and the principle of choosing materials. During the researchof introducing real-life elements into learning plan in Chemistry, the author comes to theconclusion as below by searching documents, questionnaire designed for students, dataanalysis, communication with teachers and interviews, combining the author’s teachingexperience:1. The author holds the opinion that introducing real-life elements into learning planin Chemistry is a current trend, as well as a teaching method which can be accepted bystudents.2. This approach not only strengthens the interaction in class, but also increases theefficiency of teaching, which allows students to learn in a more relaxed way andexperience more vividly about this practical subject. Meanwhile, it leaves written materialsfor further improvement.In the end of the essay, remaining problems in this research are also mentioned.
