With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,chemistry education pays more attention to the teaching of inquiry experiment.The new curriculum clearly points out that "through a variety of inquiry activities based on chemical experiments,students can experience the process of scientific research,stimulate their interest in learning chemistry,strengthen their awareness of scientific inquiry,and promote the transformation of their learning methods."Cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability."According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the author studies the chemistry experiment of the extracurricular inquiry experiment based on the textbook content,in terms.of quantity and content,In form and so on,this paper investigates extracurricular inquiry into the similarities and differences between the former syllabus edition and the requirements of the students' inquiry experiment.The present situation of experiment practice in Huangchuan Middle School of Qinghai Province.On this basis,the author has made further development on the extracurricular inquiry experiment,designed two inquiry experiments-Soaps made from gutter oil,Comparison of energy in chocolate and potato chips.The purpose is to help teachers to better carry out experimental teaching.Based on the literature method,this paper concludes that the development of extracurricular inquiry experiments is the objective need of the new curriculum reform and the new college entrance examination mode,is the inevitable requirement of cultivating students' scientific literacy,and is an important measure to stimulate the students' interest in learning.Comparing the requirements and changes of extracurricular inquiry experiments before and after the new curriculum reform as well as the new textbooks,it is not difficult to see the change of the status of extracurricular inquiry experiments in the process of chemistry learning.According to the concept and type of the extracurricular inquiry experiment,the characteristics of the extracurricular inquiry experiment are summarized,which lays a theoretical foundation for the development of the extracurricular inquiry experiment.By using the method of investigation,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on my school.The content of the investigation was based on the analysis of the present situation of the practice of extracurricular inquiry experiments,and the understanding of the importance of chemistry and chemistry experiments from the two aspects of students and teachers.The situation of carrying out extracurricular inquiry experiment and the importance that students and teachers attach to the implementation of extracurricular inquiry experiment.The main contradiction in the practice of extracurricular inquiry experiment is found and the method to solve the contradiction is found.As a young teacher,after understanding the present situation of extracurricular inquiry experiment practice,the author tries to develop the extracurricular inquiry experiment under the enlightenment of the construction principle,the theory of life education and the theory of supporting teaching.Two research experiments were designed and implemented-comparison of heat in gutter oil soap,chocolate and potato chips.The experiment of soaps made from gutter oil is aimed at turning waste into treasure combined with the idea of green chemistry and discussing its application prospect according to the actual production and life so that chemistry can be closely connected with people's life.And the comparison of calories in chocolate and potato chips is focused on health issues that are now the focus of public attention,from Chemistry allows students to understand the calorie problem in food and experience the importance of a healthy diet.In the new curriculum,students' knowledge and skills,processes and methods,emotional attitudes and values are based on the learning and practice of inquiry experiments.The requirements for students are no longer just "examination-oriented",but require students to develop in all aspects.Innovative spirit and scientific literacy.This requires all teachers and students to jump out of the original learning mode,change ideas,free the brain,free hands,dare to practice,dare to innovate.Using the extracurricular inquiry experiment to cultivate the students' ability to transfer and apply knowledge after class,as well as the ability of innovation,autonomous learning,analysis and problem-solving,and so on.Teachers can also take this as an opportunity to make use of the lessons.Practice and development of foreign inquiry experiment,exercise their own level of inquiry and scientific research,at the same time,with the interest of extracurricular inquiry experiment,to arouse the students' interest in learning,so that it can be better integrated into the atmosphere of chemistry study.
