With the arrival of learning society, life-long learning has become a necessary, so in order to adapt to the needs of social development, we must strengthen the autonomous learning, autonomous learning is the intrinsic quality of learning is also a kind of self-monitoring learning. According to the state council put forward the foundation education reform and development of the decision, the new curriculum reform in the country. The Mongolian teaching high school thought political lesson of the higher requirements are put forward. Under the new curriculum idea, the thought political lesson focuses on how to improve the Mongolian teaching students’ ideological and political quality, and better control of high school ideological and political theory of common sense. In Mongolian teaching in high school, teachers lead students to learn the various factors of affecting the adjust learning styles to choose, the organic combination of classroom teaching and students’ autonomous learning, to lay a foundation for life-long learning.Starting from the connotation, features and importance of autonomous learning, to the present situation of the Mongolian high school thought political lesson teaching of autonomous learning method and the causes of insufficient for analysis, finally put forward the Mongolian high school thought political lesson teaching the application way of autonomous learning method. The article is divided into four parts: the first part is the theoretical basis, narrates the selected topic significance, the research status, research methods and ideas; In the second part describes the Mongolian high school thought political lesson teaching the importance of autonomous learning method. The third part of Mongolian high school thought political lesson teaching of autonomous learning method analyzed the present situation and insufficient use of reason; Fourth part discusses the Mongolian high school thought political lesson teaching application ways of autonomous learning methodThe focus of this study is about how to explore the training of Mongolian teaching high school students autonomous learning ability, thus the application of autonomous learning method to Mongolian teaching in the high school thought political lesson. These individuals and the sustainable development of education for students is of great significance.
