| With the popularization of higher education of China, the quality of highereducation has more and more concern and attention. How to improve the quality ofundergraduates education, the key lies in understanding the undergraduates’ learningsituation. This study make a little change on the basis of “National College StudentSurveyâ€(NCSS) research group’s questionnaire, draw up “Chongqing university cityUndergraduates’ Learning Situation Surveyâ€as the measuring tool,to surveyed thelearning situation about the undergraduates in Chongqing university city, analysis thequestions in the learning process, and find effective ways to improve the quality ofChongqing university city undergraduates education, in order to provide reference forenhance the quality of undergraduates education.This study has indicated that, in the learning view, most of the undergraduates inChongqing university city hold the applied knowledge learning view, but there are stillsome undergraduates hold the memory knowledge learning view; in the classroomexperience, most of undergraduates’ overall perception about university classroomexperience are positive, the average score about teaching method and teachingorganization is higher, but the main problem is the lack of communication betweenteachers and students; in the approaches to learning, the average score of the deepapproach to learning is higher than the surface approach to learning, the result hasshown that undergraduates are more inclined to use deep approach to learning, but therehas different between grade, professional and institutional; in the learning gains, theaverage score about the undergraduates in Chongqing university city is high, overall arepositive.Based on the results of the investigation of the learning situation about theundergraduates in Chongqing university city and the analysis of index, the authorsuggested that we should change students’ learning view and approaches to learning; promote teachers’ teaching idea and tesching methods; reshape the harmoniousrelationship between teachers and student;optimize the teaching evaluation system. Ifwe do, we can improve the quality of undergraduate education. |
