A Research On Learning Situation In Vocational Colleges

This study aims to find out the difficulties in the learning process and put forward some pointed and concrete measures to improve the quality of vocational college education by investigating and analyzing the learning situation of vocational college students.This paper mainly uses the methods of questionnaire survey and interview,taking three public vocational colleges in Jiangsu province as the objects.Based on the quantitative and qualitative research,the author found that the learning state of students in these three vocational colleges is positive and these students still have a good heart for the study,but the learning effect is not ideal.In the learning view,most of the students hold the applied knowledge learning view.In the learning environment,the majority of students are not very satisfied with the campus emotional environment,learning atmosphere is not very good and interpersonal interaction is lack and the result of interpersonal interaction is out of ideal.In the learning methods,most of the students are more inclined to use deep approaches to learning.In the learning gains,more students are satisfied with emotional gains,then skill gains.Learning views?learning environment and learning methods have great influence on the study of the vocational college students,among which the learning environment has the highest explanatory power,then the learning methods.Based on the results of the investigation and the analysis of index,the author suggested that the educators must set up the teaching idea of "taking students as the center,taking students' learning performance as the center,taking students' autonomous learning ability as the center".The teachers should enhance students' applied knowledge learning view,encouraging students to master professional hard skills and soft skills,as well as improving their humanistic quality.The school should strengthen and improve infrastructure construction and its utilization and pay attention to the cultivation of the campus career situation,creating a good learning atmosphere as well as establishing harmonious and positive interpersonal interaction;The teachers should focus on the cultivation of students' learning ability,the curriculum should highlights the feature of “occupation ”,the teaching should take the classification into consideration,achieving individualized teaching.Only in this way can we improve the quality of higher vocational education and the vocational colleges make itself in feature.
