Teaching quality evaluation is an important part in teaching, it is the importantmeans to judge the level of teaching and improve teaching quality, it plays a vital role tostrengthen the modern teaching management. With the continuous development ofteaching quality evaluation, successively appeared a variety of evaluation methods,these evaluation methods has been achieved corresponding results in different degree,but there are still some defects and shortcomings, therefore, in the day which theteacher’s teaching quality evaluation showed a trend of diversity, it is important tochoose the scientific and effective teaching evaluation method. However, in theteacher’s teaching quality evaluation, due to the influence of various human factors, theteaching quality evaluation system is present some grey characteristics, in allusion tothe problem, the traditional evaluation method can not solve effectively. Gray relationalanalysis is suitable for the objective need of gray factors analysis, it can analyzed thegrey system of partial information known and partial information unknown.This paper expounds the basic theory of teaching quality evaluation; introduces theadvantages and disadvantages of Analytic Hierarchy Process、Fuzzy ComprehensiveEvaluation and BP Neural Network Evaluation. The main work of this paper is asfollows:(1) For the fuzziness and uncertainly of teaching quality influence factors, and thegrey relational analysis has unique advantages in dealing with the grey system, putforward the application of grey relational analysis method for comprehensive evaluationof teachers’ teaching quality.(2) For the weighting methods, such as Delphi method、Principal ComponentAnalysis, have the defects which is too subjective and complex, and the grey relationalanalysis has advantages of simple structure and small amount of calculation, putforward the application of grey relational analysis method to determine the weight ofeach evaluation index.(3) For the shortcomings of correlation coefficient is greater than0.333when thedistinguish coefficient value is0.5, bring in the distinguish coefficient sequence, make it can carry on the dynamic values according to the actual situation, in order to make thefinal evaluation result more reasonable.(4) For the problem the qualitative description language evaluation index isdifficult to use traditional mathematical model for accurate representation. This papercombines cloud model with grey relational analysis, put forward a evaluation methodbased on the cloud-grey relational analysis, in order to realize the mutual transformationbetween the qualitative information and quantitative numerical.(5) This paper get three teachers’ information of Chongqing Normal University bythe way of questionnaire survey, and then evaluate the teaching quality through theevaluation model based on grey relational analysis built in MATLAB, and compare theresults with the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation’s and the BP Neural NetworkEvaluation’s. The analysis results show that the teacher’s teaching quality evaluationmodel based on grey relational analysis has certain rationality and feasibility.
