Research Of Present Situation About Marine Leisure Sports In Daishan County Zhejiang Province

Marine leisure sports industry can help people to realize, explore, develop andprotect the Marines. It can also brighten the brand of Marine tourism, improve marineeconomy and speed up the leap-forward development of island communities.The research is based on the Marine leisure sports of Daishan and studies itscurrent situation, resources, the target groups, policies, intellects, and leisure fisheryby methods as document research, field research, survey method, Delphi techniqueand mathematical statistics. The survey shows that Daishan has proper naturalenvironment and large groups of people who support it, so that the Marine leisuresports gain strong foundation in the district. It is found out that the layout of the areasis not sensible and affects the life of citizens around by the field research and Delphitechnique. In the media part, various ways of publicity were conducted, likecelebrations and competitions, but the activities did not focus on the local features andlacked great influences, which did not bring much recognitions to Daishan. As for thetraffic, the leisure sports was restricted by the few sea routes and the inconvenientlocation. Although the kinds of Marine leisure sports are many, the high price and theunreasonable management give the tourists the feeling of over-commercialization.There is a high proportion of the residents who participate the sports and theirschedule of life is the main factor which affects the participation. In the policies, thepolicies about tourism are plenty but those about the participants is few, which reflectsthe lack of attention to the people themselves. In addition, the shortage of talents ofmanagement and training also impedes the development of the Marine leisure sportsin Daishan. And at last, the safety of sports is not paid much attention and does nothave enough maintenance on the facilities.Proposals for the states above are made as below: there will be a framework forthe overall development; publicity for the brand will be strengthened; an Marinetraffic network will be built to improve the communication; policies will be workedout to innovate the working mechanisms; sports culture will be cultivate so as toimprove the quality of the products; welfare system will be established to value thetalents. And the government will also give priority to the development of the Marineleisure sports.
