Maximal oxygen uptake is engaged in the most intense sports case, the maximumvalue of oxygen consumed by the cells or tissues using is the main indicator currentlyevaluate individual aerobic capacity of the job. Determination of Young athletesindividual maximal oxygen uptake is observed best aerobic capacity criterion. In addition,the athletes understand the maximal amount of oxygen for the movement before theelection, predict athletic potential, choreography and other aspects of training period,there is a multiplier effect.In this study, the best way to maximal oxygen uptake Youth basketball playersexplore an indirect test, Jilin Institute of Physical Education26basketball students asexperimental subjects, using experimental test method were implemented step test method,PWC170test method, Yo-Yo intermittent testing method,12minutes to run test. The use oftest data calculate maximal oxygen uptake, by comparing the degree of correlation withmaximal oxygen uptake directly tested, from which the best screening test maximaloxygen uptake indirect methods, hoping to physical education teachers, coaches andresearch teaching staff, training, research and other aspects of the work to provide areference.Results:1step test can predict the maximum oxygen uptake as a variable. However,the correlation coefficient with the level of maximal oxygen uptake test results forr=0.373, low level of correlation. But this method is simple, easy to operate, but becauseit is a validity test method is not high, the projected maximum oxygen uptake Youthbasketball players predict aerobic capacity is not recommended. Retest correlationcoefficient2. PWC170test r=0.75, higher reliability. But PWC170test and maximaloxygen uptake showed low correlation (r=0.432). Teaching children to sports in generalor to a group involved in aerobic capacity can only be a rough estimate and evaluate arough, PWC170still is a very effective method, but for professional athletes VO2maxprojections, aerobic capacity estimates, PWC170can not be used as an accurateassessment, the error is large, is not recommended.3.Yo-Yo intermittent test-retestreliability testing of high correlation coefficient r=0.80. Moreover, the correlation coefficient Yo-Yo intermittent test results and maximum oxygen uptake r=0.716, a highdegree of correlation. Visibility, reliability, and validity is higher, the test results cantruly reflect the Youth basketball players maximal oxygen uptake real performance. Testrun high test-retest reliability4.12minutes, with a correlation coefficient of r=ranmaximal oxygen uptake showed a very high correlation of0.83.12minutes (r=0.869).This method is simple, easy to operate, and the reliability and validity than the higherprojections of Young basketball player for maximal oxygen uptake, estimates andprojections methods aerobic capacity test is a more appropriate uses.
