The content orientation of Ideological and moral lessons is a rational interpretation, which bases on the deep grasping of the content of teaching material of ideological and moral lessons. And it is also convey attitude and positions towards something implicated in the content. On the basis of the objective scanning and overall analysis of the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials, the research on the orientation of ideological and moral teaching materials pays a conscious attention to and analyzes its problems. Then it further explores and reflects the construction of the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials. The followings are discussed in this thesis.Firstly, it introduces the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials and related concepts. This part explains the related studying concepts of the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials rationally, namely what is the moral lesson materials, what the meaning of the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials is, and what kind of relation between them. We may also say that the explanation of these concepts lay down the theoretical basis to the research of the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials.Secondly, it scans the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials. This part mainly scans objectively the content of Ideological and moral teaching materials published by People’s Education Press. In the longitudinal direction, it follows by Morality and Life, Moral and Social, Moral in turn, while in the transverse direction, it carries on step by step from the content of Ideological and moral teaching materials to the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials with the goal of scanning the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials objectively and comprehensively.Thirdly, it analyzes the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials. Overall, the Ideological and moral teaching materials shows the emphasis on educating social norms, fostering qualified socialist citizens, highlighting the moral education and concerning social life. But there still exists some problems, such as emphasizing on social development, ignoring individual development, emphasizing on standardized constraints, ignoring moral development, emphasizing requirements directive, ignoring the demands of the individual and emphasizing knowledge representation, ignoring student needs. On terms of the causes of these problems, this part discusses it from three aspects, that is, from the origin of social history, the origin of thinking and understanding and the origin of reality. Fourthly, it mainly introduces the strategy of how to improve the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials. This part is the main point of this thesis, which is the active response to the problems existing in the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials. On the basis of principles, dimensions, and specific implementation of construction, the strategy of how to improve the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials is discussed. Among them, the will of the state, social development requirements, educational goals and student needs will function as the important reference factors and dimensions of the improvements of the content orientation of Ideological and moral teaching materials.
