A Research On Low-carbon Consumption Behavior Of College Student And Its Influencing Factors

With the rapid development of the economics,the problem of environment isgradually highlight.The problem of pollution has affected the sustainable developmentof economy,As the request, not only do we produce by low-carbon mode, but also dowe consume by low-carbon life style.As China has great population and many groupsand we should chose the strong influential group in order to construct the low-carbonconsumption.Because of the college student are they are the backbone of thefuture,and they can be reflect consumption trend of the future society.In this paper,wechose the college student’s low-carbon consumption as the research object in order tolead other group’s low-carbon consumption behavior,so that we can explore a newroad for low-carbon consumption mode and it provide a way for solvingenvironmental problems.In this paper first to define the meaning of the low-carbon consumption and thelow-carbon economy,combining other subjects such as economics, mathematicalstatistics on the base of behavior. And use the way of questionnaire to analysis thestatus,then use the way of comparative static to analysis the consumption behaviorfactors of the college students.It contains put the low carbon consumption into theconsumption equilibrium analysis.At last,it put forward the model of college student’slow-carbon consumption,then use stepwise regression method to test the low-carbonbehavior model.it contains characteristics and demographic factors. The conclusion isthat personal characteristics and demographic factors have an important influence.At last,on the base of the college students’ low-carbon consumption and it raisesome advice:the first is create a good environment for low carbon consumption;thesecond is strengthen the concept of low carbon consumption; the third is strengthenthe cultivation of the sense of social responsibility, the last is improve the collegestudents’ knowledge of low carbon environmental protection.Because of the limited capacity,this paper has some shortcomings:It can’tcalculation the sample size by sampling method and the sample size is not enough.Maybe the results of the survey is not accurate. And i hope to get the colleague’sadvice.
