China’s education system has been converted to a quality education is now fromthe traditional exam-oriented education, twenty-first century need is moral,intellectual, physical, art, labor-round development of talents. And nurture talentwe need the full implementation of quality education, aesthetic education as animportant part of quality education, people can cultivate aesthetic capacity, enhancethe growth of all other aspects. However, people’s ability to present aestheticeducation is very limited, so the ability to improve the aesthetic education of thepeople becomes imperative. Compared with other disciplines, tourism geography hasquite a unique aesthetic features and rich aesthetic elements, and therefore theimplementation of aesthetic education is imperative in the teaching ofgeography.This paper was based on the previous theory about aesthetic education asguide, mainly from the geographical education goal need, the need of qualityeducation, physical and mental development of students needs three aspects, using thequestionnaire to understand the actual ability of aesthetic today’s high school students,for the limited level of aesthetic ability questionnaire showed that high schoolstudents, put forward several strategies to improve high school students aestheticability,including use literature aesthetic materials,improve geography teacherslanguage, appropriate to make full use of modern equipment multimedia to show thebeautiful pictures and so on.
