The population aging problem is more and more cause the attention of scholars and the societySince the21st century, Manypeople call21st century the century of aging. There are several reasons of he aging of the population, but the most fundamental reasons are the decline of the birth and death rates. The aging population is not just one country’s problem or a region’s problem. Many countries has entered the stage of the aging of the population in fact. The aging of the population study also is not only a subject. because the infuence of the ageing population involved in every aspects of social and economic development. In fact,many scholars have study on the aging population from different angles. The aging problem is not only a social problem,but also a serious economic problem.If the problem be handled improperly,it will bring great aderse effects to the development of social economic.By studying the aging problem of Henan province,we will understand the problem better. We can prepare well before the peek of aging population so that the negative influence may be minimized,and we may find the new economic growth point which brought by the aging population.This study the influence of population aging on economic growth in henan province from the perspective of the sustainable development of the economy. This part introduced the theory of population ageing, population and economic growth theory and an ageing population impact on regional economic growth theory and model, This is the ltheoretical foundation of the study.The third part introduces the status quo, characteristics and reasons for the aging of the population of Henan province; The third part is the empirical method to determine the population aging in henan province economic growth direction and the influence of population aging on economic growth mechanism; The fifth part, the countermeasures to Henan province’s aging population.Various measures are putforward to cope with the aging population of Henan province.
