A Relationship Research: Sports Moral Disengagement, Motivational Climate Of Sports Team And Sports Pro-antisocial Behavior

Sports moral disengagement is explain one of the important psychological mechanism of unethicalbehavior athletes, through the eight interrelated crimped mechanism (moral justification, advantageouscomparison, blame attribution, euphemistic labeling, displacement of responsibility, diffusion ofresponsibility, distortion of consequences and dehumanization) make the self-adjustment function of themoral failure. At the same time, it is closely associated with sports proantisocial behavior, and has certainprediction; The motivational climate of sports team is divided into the task orientation and ego orientation,are closely associated with sports pro-antisocial behavior. This study explore a relationship of sports moraldisengagement, motivational climate of sports team and sports pro-antisocial behavior.The participants are college student athlete in wuhan sports university, investigates the relationship ofsports moral disengagement and motivational climate of sports teamand sports anti-social behavior. First ofall, to foreign sports moral disengagement scale (MDSS) has carried on the adaptability test, modify someentries, formed in accordance with Chinese cultural background of Chinese sports moral crimped scale, thescale is composed of26items, measuring sports moral disengagement on six aspects, respectively is moraljustification, advantageous comparison, euphemistic labeling, displacement of responsibility, distortion ofconsequences and dehumanization. Upon examination, good, reliability and validity of the revised scalecan be well applied in this study. Second, investigates motivational climate of sports team, sports moraldisengagement influence on sports anti-social behavior respectively. Results show that motivational climateof sports team has no significant correlation between sports pro-antisocial behavior, the task-oriented andego-oriented motivational climate are not positively predict sports pro-antisocial behavior; Sports moraldisengagement significantly associated with sports pro-antisocial behavior, and has a negative relationshipwith sports prosocial behavior and a positive relationship with antisocial behavior. Sports moraldisengagement can predict sports pro-antisocial behavior. Finally, on the relations between and among, themediation effect test, found that the mediation effect of sports motivation climate was not significant, thereis no mediation effect between the three.This study get the following conclusion:First, the revision of the Chinese sports moral disengagement scale has good reliability and validity,that can measure athletes sports moral disengagement positively. Second,“moral justification”, one dimension of sports moral disengagement has a significant positivecorrelation with antisocial behavior (teammate) and antisocial behavior (opponent);There are significantpositive correlation between “displacement of responsibility” and sports prosocial behavior (teammate) andprosocial behavior (opponent), and was a significant negative correlation between and antisocial behavior(teammate) and antisocial behavior (opponent);All the dimensions of “dehumanization",“distortion ofconsequences” and “advantageous comparison” have significant positive correlation between antisocialbehavior (teammate) and antisocial behavior (opponent).“displacement of responsibility” as the bestvariable of predict sports moral disengagement, can predict sports prosocial behavior negatively and sportsantisocial behavior positively.Third,“team competition”, one dimension of motivational climate of sports team, has a significantnegative correlation with prosocial behavior(teammate), and can predict sports prosocialbehavior(teammate);“Unique cognitive” has a significant positive correlation with antisocialbehavior(opponent), and can predict sports antisocial behavior(opponent).Fourth,The mediate effect of motivational climate of sports team between sports moral disengagementand sports moral disengagement is not significant.
