Our country "Ordinary High School Biology Course Standards" advocates improving students' biological scientific literacy, and makes it as the core of biology course standard implementation task. Scientific literacy mainly has five parts, including scientific knowledge, scientific method, scientific ability, view of science and scientific quality. Scientific method can promote the construction of scientific knowledge, promote the training of scientific ability and scientific quality. Therefore, teachers should teach biological knowledge, but also strengthen the scientific method in biological teaching, this can not only lay the foundation for each student's lifelong development, but also relate to the overall improvement of citizens scientific literacy.At present, what is the scientific method educations' situation in high school biology teaching? What are problems existing? The research of this aspect is still very little. So implementing a system investigation on scientific method education in high school biology teaching has important theoretical and practical significance.On the basis of the existing research, this paper mainly reviewed domestic and international teaching of scientific method in biology teaching, as well as expounded the teaching of scientific method related theory in biology education. Using the questionnaire and interviews outline, selecting the He Nan, Ji Lin, Liao Ning, Zhe Jiang, Inner Mongolia five provinces parts of biology teachers in high school, to implement the questionnaire and interview survey on scientific method education in biology teaching, showed the results of the survey and analysis of data. Finally, the author summed up the existing problems of scientific methods education in high school biology teaching and putted forward the following Suggestions: Teachers should strengthen the learning of scientific methodology knowledge and improve their scientific literacy; Teachers should change the traditional teaching concept, have a deep understanding of the value of scientific method education; Teacher training institutions and normal colleges should appropriately increase the introduction of scientific method knowledge; Suggestions to add some more introductions about scientific method in the biological books; Biological college entrance examination and regular examination should intensify the test of scientific method.
